Nicole graduated with honors from the Red River College Applied Counselling program in 2013, later obtaining a Bachelor of Recreation Management and Community Development degree from the University of Manitoba in 2020. After working 15 years in community based settings, she began counselling through private practice in 2019, with a focus on children and adolescents. She holds a mental health first aid certificate from the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
Nicole strives to create an inclusive space where individuals feel safe to express themselves in sessions, using a holistic health perspective and strengths-based approach, in conjunction with mindfulness-based practices. Her experiences have allowed her to work with individuals living with anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, as well as those navigating moments of life in social and school settings, shifts in family dynamics, and trauma.
Being mindful that every individual comes with their own unique experiences and needs, there is a different approach and flow with every client, aligning sessions to meet their goals.
Growing up Good is inclusive to all, including the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
